Key Differentiators
- Fashion-forward, versatile, value-driven designs at medium price points aimed at meeting the ever-changing needs of consumers.
- In-house, world-class product development team studies color, textiles, apparel, and interior design, as well as consumer shopping behaviors, to consistently push style boundaries beyond off-the-shelf, middle market sameness.
- With an ability to do domestic warehouse orders or full float mixed containers, Magnussen is typically an order-in, order out concern. Though the company is experiencing many of the same capacity and lead time issues currently plaguing the industry, certain collections are in-stock, and warehoused in Southern California with low minimum orders attractive to both retailers and designers.
The Story
In today’s marketplace, it is difficult to find innovative, forward-thinking companies that spring from generations of history and success. Magnussen Home is the exception to the rule, as a thriving organization leading the industry in delivering fashionable furnishings designed for real lifestyles, while elevating design and craftsmanship in the middle price points.
Constantly challenging its in-house design to create furniture with the aesthetics, innovations and thoughtful design features that make stylish living easy, the company offers a large selection of bedroom and dining furniture, with home office/home entertainment, youth and occasional products typically developed off of its best-selling collections.

Rather than pause product development during the pandemic, the team has continued to take a best-of-markets approach, spinning successful dining rooms like its traditional Roxbury Manor Collection, for example, into bedrooms and other categories. This Spring watch for a strengthening of Magnussen’s home office/home entertainment offerings in the same vein, with strong introductions in both categories, in addition to new occasional on the boards.
Products are manufactured in a 450,000-square-foot facility in Ho Chi Minh (Magnussen was the one of the first in the industry to specialize in mixed containers) and warehoused for quick delivery in Southern California. Trucks leave every Friday and deliver to retailers in 7 to 10 days.
