Key Differentiators

  • Open to the public by appointment, yet posting trade-only prices at all times, 214 Modern Vintage serves interior designers and high-end boutique retailers and home goods store in larger metropolitan markets like Houston and New York.
  • Unique point-of-view and a high-energy space with displays that change daily (and sometimes multiple times each day during Market) makes this 7,000-square-foot showroom the first stop of many trend-setting designers upon their arrival at High Point Market who love the thrill of the hunt and the get-it-now-or-it’s-gone, cash-and-carry approach.
  • Known for high-quality, one-of-a-kind finds curated by eight different dealers, a diverse group from as far as Miami, Michigan, and Upstate New York, all in tune with what’s next, along with vintage and contemporary couture jewelry, handbags and scarves by Hermes, Chanel, Pucci, Tiffany, Bulgari and more.

The Story

Initially launched eight years ago by a group of like-minded dealers of vintage art and furnishings with a decidedly Mid-Century slant, 214 Modern Vintage has steadily evolved and expanded its offerings so that unique finds here now truly epitomize eclectic vintage style, whether that means 19th century antiques or modern-day cool.  While the goods are always high-quality, beautiful, and often luxurious, the atmosphere here is anything but stuffy. Catering to the needs of interior designers, and high-end retailers that like to mix vintage with new goods, this ever-changing space is a source of inspiration and creative energy for many, including leading furniture manufacturers who are regularly known to stop by for a sense of what’s coming down the pike.
