Construction & Materials
Padding & Ergonomics Feather blend seating offers extraordinary comfort and support utilizing the resilient properties of feather blend fill surrounding a 1.8 density foam core. Feather blend cushions have an incredible, enveloping feel that only natural fiber cushions can provide due to their ability to conform to the body's every curve and contour.
Tailoring We utilize precision stitching techniques to create crisp welts and seams. Seat decks are recessed to allow cushions to sit in them to minimize gaps.
Upholstery Frame Construction Constructed from kiln-dried hardwood and 3/4 structural laminates. Laminates are used for their ability to withstand humidity changes without warping, splitting, or cracking. All stress joints are corner blocked, glued, and stapled for superior strength. Mortise and Tenon construction is used to lock the frame together.
Seat Support Description Machine tied coil system with a boarder of heavy 6 gauge steel. Standard frame depth allows for four rows deep of coils, and the coils attach to the top and bottom using a custom grid system of 12 gauge spring wire. This construction guarantees a deeper seat, a uniform seating platform, and less stress exerted on the frame.
